The horses conducted an experiment this week, learning and exploring how the sun produces heat. We used a range of ingredients and magnifying glasses in our experiment to see how the sun produces heat. The horses held magnifying glasses over the ingredients and tried to focus the sun rays in order to watch the ingredients melt or change with the heat of the sun. We found that the chocolate melted easily, and the marshmallows didn’t melt but burnt.
