Ice Painting

The ladybirds supported the team to make some ice. The children filled jugs and carefully poured the water into the ice moulds practising to manage lifting the heavy jug and pouring without spill. Once the ice was ready the children explored the texture of the ice. Holding the ice in their hands and exploring the melting process. They used paint and brushes to paint the ice. watching the reaction of the paint on the meting ice and the colour run in the tray. The children made marks on the ice and in the tray spreading the paint with the ice to extend on the marks made.
