Throughout the week all of the rooms have enjoyed exploring a wide range of activities to celebrate Chinese New Year. 

The children used their creative skills to make their own lanterns and traditional Chinese hats. 

The children enjoyed listening and dancing to Chinese style music and extended on their experiences by role playing with their Chinese kitchen including real life food play noodles and rice. 

To extend on this even further the children used the touch and tilt table and a range of books to observe the celebrations in China. 

Next week we will be making spring rolls and our own vegetable noodles!!!
