Our Beanstalk adventures

This week in preschool, to complete our topic of fantasy and fiction we followed the story of Jack and their adventures up the beanstalk. The children listened intently to the story and enjoyed looking at the pictures of the giant in the castle. Once we had finished reading the story, the children were asked to use their memory skills to retell the story from what they could remember. We also played a game on the touch and tilt where you were given scenes from the story and they needed to be put in chronological order. After this we went on to a tuft tray where we followed Jack’s journey up the beanstalk and into the clouds.
