Chinese Zodiac Shadow Story
To start their Chinese New Year Celebrations, the children read the Chinese Zodiac story! The story is about the Chinese Emperor who asks the animals of China to race across the river in order to measure time. The children enjoyed listening to the story and predicting who was going to win! After the story, the Grasshoppers created their own masks and puppets ready for their shadow story time. The children then used their props and the over head projector to create their shadows to re enact the story! Well done Grasshoppers!
