Fireworks!

On Monday in the toddler room we explored bonfire night. We had small group discussions about our own experiences of going to see the fireworks. We discussed the sounds we heard and the different colours we saw. We then worked together to create our own fireworks. We made lots of marks on paper using pens and dabbers. We then used the touch and tilt table to watch some fireworks. We talked about all of the shapes and colours we could see. We then extended this by creating fireworks by using our motor skills on the touch and tilt table making flashes of colours and shapes. This was a great way to explore the cause and effect of using ICT resources.
