This week the Ponies have made their very own salt dough autumn decorations to decorate the Ponies room in time for the Autumn Equinox. They used ICT to follow a recipe for salt dough online, paying attention to measurements as they tipped and poured the ingredients into the bowl. They then used their fine motor skills to shape, roll, flatten and cut out their different leaf shapes- paying close attention to wear the dough was stickiest, adding flour to combat this. After this the children added the shapes to the mini oven, watching them bake before looking at different forest images to paint their leaves different autumnal colours. Well done Ponies!
