The Horses have been enjoying the familiar story The Gruffalo. They read the story with Jessica, re-telling the familiar parts they knew and finishing Jessica's sentences.  The children then used the tuff tray to re-tell the story without Jessica reading it. The children recognised the structure of the story and talked about the beginning, middle and end of the story. They used the book to make reference and used full sentences from the story t talk about the mouses journey through the forest.
