Today Preschool have been learning about Passover (Pesach). Chloe’s Grandparents came in to speak to Ponies and Horses about Passover, learning about The King, The Israelites and Moses. They heard about the plagues, and how Moses parted the Red Sea for the Israelites into the promised land. They also learnt about Sedar and tried elements of the Sedar feast for snack, including Matzah, bitter herbs (parsley), horseradish and grape juice which represents each of the blessings.

After this they learn some Jewish Dancing, and enjoyed participating and different circle dances.

We also went to Waitrose and looked at the Sedar plate to write our shopping list for what we’d need for our Sedar snack.
