The ponies took part in a painting activity outside exploring their creativity as they made marks on a large piece of fabric. Children grasped different sized paint brushes and rollers with palmer and pincer grips in their dominant hand to make the marks. Children made a variety of shapes and lines on the blank canvas and some children started to form recognisable shapes and letter formations. Hand eye co-ordination was used to connect the canvas and the pant brushes. Children gave meanings to the marks they made.
