The Ponies went on a trip to the local forest to collect natural resources to make some nature art. Children foraged through the forest looking for items that interested them and talking about what they found such as acorns, leaves, sticks and stones. On return to nursery the children made art work with their finings manipulating glue spreaders to spread glue on paper to arrange the natural resources and make pictures and images. Giving meanings to the displays they made ad talking about their experience in the forest.
