The Ponies have been looking at germs and how they help to keep hands clean. The children talked about washing their hands and using soap. Chloe and Evie supported the children to design their own soap. The children followed instructions to add soap, colourings, scents and more to moulds to design and create heir own sap. children added various ingredients to the soap and talked about what they were adding. Some children thought the lemon scent smelt very clean and wanted to add this. The ingredients was mixed together and melted down allowing the children to witness the change in state process. Once this was complete the children poured it into their moulds to watch as it became a solid again.

Once the soap was ready the children used it wash their hands and remove germs.
