The Ponies have shown lots of interest in the underground recently, so they have used this interest to build a large scale train line using underground maps and station signs to recreate the central line. They spoke about which train stations are closest to them and how they get to and from nursery based on which train station they use. They also spoke about travelling to the City on the weekend and all the interesting things they do in London, such as visiting museums, theatre and parks. This activity developed the children’s positional language and their understanding of the world and where they live. Well done Ponies!
