Today some of the Ponies went on a trip to the forest to gather some sticks to create their own Stick Man! The children have enjoyed listening to the Stick Man story and wanted to create their own Stick Man to puppet alongside the story.

They looked around the forest for the perfect sticks and some of the children said “we need big sticks!” while comparing whether or not the sticks were long or short, fat or thin, green or brown and dry or wet!

Once back at nursery, they each took turns using hot glue to connect the sticks creating their very own Stick Man, reading the story with an adult and using their Stick Man as a puppet to retell the story. Well done Ponies!
