The Horses made their own ice cream today by conducting a science experiment, first they put ingredients into a small bag to create their ice cream, using milk, sugar and vanilla extract. The Horses then poured ice and salt into a large bag and spoke about the chemical reaction the salt would cause on the ice making the ice below freezing in temperature. After discussing the science behind the experiment, they begun to the fun part, first of all placing the smaller ice cream ingredients bag into the larger ice bag and then they started shaking the bags enabling the chemical reaction to take place, the Horses watched as there milk turned into a thicker consistency and made ice cream. They all then enjoyed a taste of there home made ice cream.
