Today the Ponies have been making Gruffalo Crumble from the children’s favourite story ‘The Gruffalo’. They chopped the apples in small pieces and put them in a pot ready to boil, after this they added water to the pot and carefully stirred it on the hot plate to cook. Once the apples were soft, they scooped them out and transferred them into the baking tray. They used their mathematics to measure out the crumble ingredients and used their fine motor skills to pinch the butter into the flour to make the crumble. The next step is to eat!
