Today the Ponies made their own emotion lava lamps based off of the book ‘Colour Monster’. They looked at the colours from the colour monster story and spoke about the different emotions, and then chose the emotion they’d like to create. They used their fine motor skills and hand eye coordination to pipette and pour paint, oil and water into their bottles- mixing them up to create their lava lamps. After this an adult added fizzing tablets that caused the oil to bubble through the water, the children watched the reaction noting that it ‘bubbled’ and told us they could hear a bubbly sound!
