The Horses used coffee filters to create in a new way. They started by making marks with felt tip pens on the coffee filer. using a range of colours and making designs. Practicing pen grip and using a dominant hand. Next the children used pippets to drops of water onto the coffee filer. The children pinched the end of the pippet to such up water and also to release water on top of their coffee filer. The children watched as the water spread the colours on the coffee filter, mixing the colours together and creating effects. 

Once the colour had run the children used physical skill to fold the coffee filters into shapes. they used pipe cleaners to twist around the coffee filter to create their butterflies. Everyone was very excited with their creation.
