Blackberry Nature Painting

Today some of the Ponies have gone for a walk to do some blackberry picking! They looked for blackberry bushes on a walk through our local community, and made sure to find blackberries that are black and purple so that they were ripe. They enjoyed picking the blackberries and made sure they were very careful of the prickles. After this they each took turns using a pestle and mortar to mush up the blackberries into their own natural paints, loving painting the local scenery- noticing that each brush stroke had a slightly different tone based on the ripeness of the fruit. Well done Ponies!
