The children took part in some bead art. The children took turns putting the beads on, used fine motor skills and hand eye coordination to pick up the beads and put them in the correct place on the mat. The children created their own patterns with the beads. Risky play was introduced as the children used a craft iron with a risk assessment circle time before we started about being safe with tiny beads and hot iron.
