World Coconut Day
The ladybirds celebrated World Coconut Day and explored coconuts. The children looked at the coconuts and explored the outside texture. The team supported the children with some early risky play and the children were able to crack open the coconuts. The children used a small hammer to crack open the coconut and investigate inside. The children investigated the inside of the coconut and tasted it. They also explored the coconut water and topped and poured it from one coconut to another.
