The Grasshoppers added a water pump to their tuff tray for a new experience.
They investigated the flow of water as it sucked up through a tube and pumped out the top.
The children learnt how to speed up and slow down the flow of water by changing the amount of water flowing through the tube.
They used positional language such as 'under' and 'over' as they explored with high levels of concentration and through lots of trial and error.
They used the water for the dinosaur small world land to allow the dinosaurs to bath and drink.
The children created their own play story narratives for the water.
