The Grasshoppers were very excited to be invited by Soiree a local Turkish restaurant to help cook and prepare some soup for lunch.
The children were able to go down to the kitchen to meet the chef.
They were able to see a working kitchen in operation and how the food is prepared.
They talked about the ingredients added to the soup.
Lots of vegetables and spices were added.
Once the soup was ready the children were able to sit down in the restaurant.
They were able to see what happens in a restaurant such as looking at the menu and how food is served.
The children enjoyed the social experience of having lunch at the restaurant.
They all enjoyed eating the yummy Turkish vegetable soup.
There were clean bowls all around.
