On Friday the 3rd of January 2019 we started our first day back with a trip on the train!

January our topic is going to be Travel and Transport and we will be looking at all the different forms of transport and how we get to and from different destinations.

We took a walk down to Buckhurst Hill Station and spoke to the train instructors about how we use the trains, we put money on our Oysters and waited for the train at the platform. We spoke about all the risks that there might be when using the trains and we discussed how we need to keep ourselves safe. We stayed on the train all the way to Stratford and we walked around the station looking at all the different signs. We then got on the train back and when we got to nursery we extended our learning by role playing our own train ride drawing our own tickets and using our chairs to make our train.
