The Grasshoppers explored physical skill by weaving and threading.
They used fine motor skills to manipulate needles to thread wool through the holes on the weaving frame.
Everyone showed high levels of concentration as the wool connected each hole.
A range of patterns were made with the wool depending on which hole was threaded through next.
Once the holes were all filled the children used paper the weave through the wool.
The small hand movements support the children will early writing skills.
Hand eye co-ordination was focused on as the children manipulated the materials.
