This week, the grasshoppers engaged in some risky play with ice. We froze some bears and gems in the ice cube tray, put them in the freezer and waited for them to freeze. Then, we helped them escape by using various different tools; we used hammers and screwdrivers to free the bears. The grasshoppers used a whole hand grip to hold the hammers and the screwdriver's, they then assessed the risks of the tool's and spoke about how to stay safe during the activity. The grasshoppers then developed their hand eye coordination to break the ice. Well done Grasshoppers!
