The Grasshoppers went to the shop to buy some flowers.
They looked at all the different kinds of flowers on offer.
They chose a selection they liked and took them to make their own arrangements.
The children each selected flowers from the bunches to make their own arrangement and began to draw their own interpretations of the flowers.
A range of coloured mark making resources were used for the children to create their flowers on paper.
They practised pencil control and grip as they drew the flowers.
The children gave meaning to their marks as they detailed which flowers they were drawing.
