The Grasshoppers explored spice painting. Spices were transformed into a paint palette, full of scents, textures, and colors that stimulate all the senses. The children used spoonful's of spice and added water to mix together and create the children's spice paint. The children compared the paints depending on how much water was added and used descriptive vocabulary such as runny or thick to describe the texture. The children used paint brushes to apply the pain onto paper and explored the marks the spice left on the paper. The children smelt the spices exploring their senses as they did this.
