Salt Dough Decorations
The Ladybirds have been very busy making their salt dough decorations. First of all, the children used scales to measure their ingredients out before mixing them altogether. The children were able to use great control and coordination skills when pouring their ingredients into the mix. The children then took turns to mix them together to form a dough. When the dough was ready, they used a rolling pin to roll our their dough. The children then used a variety of cutters to make their shapes. Finally, when the dough was cooked and has cooled down, the children used a variety of paint and pom poms to decorate their decorations.
