The Ladybirds explored a role play breakfast and tea making station.
They used tea pots to pour water into cups and added tea bags and coffee.
Hand eye co-ordination was used for pouring with little spill.
Milk was added and children investigated the change in colour to the water and milk when combined.
Sugar was mixed in and the children talked about the sugar dissolving.
Fine motor skills were used as the children spread butter on the bread practising grasps and wrist movements.
The children took on a role in their play as they served each other breakfast and tea.
