The Grasshoppers picked up golf tees between their thumb and fingers exploring their pincer grasp. Children were able to poke the golf tees into the polystyrene blocks and manipulate hammers to tap the top of the golf tee to push it down. Using the hammer and holding the golf tee at the same time supports the children with co-ordination and hand eye -ordination. Practising balancing and co-ordination skills repeatedly as the golf tee is hammered in. Children made patterns and grouped golf tee's by colour as they added them to their polystyrene bricks. categorising by colour or making patterns with colours.
