Rangoli Patterns
The Butterflies have been celebrating Diwali and made some rangoli patterns. The children used different coloured sand in their hands and with spoons to scoop into patterns into the try. The children discussed the mixing colours and swirled them together to create new patterns and shades of colours. The children looked at lots of images of different rangoli patterns and created their own interpretations in the tray.
