The Ladybirds took part in an activity to make rainbow toast. The children used their preferred hand to manipulate paint brushes and hold them in a palmer grasp as they dipped the brush into coloured water and transferred the colour to the toast. The children looked on as the toast absorbed the coloured water and their marks were transferred to the toasts surface. Children made connections between the movements they made and the marks on the toast as they moved the paint brush in a range of ways. Using hand-eye co-ordination to connect the brush with the toast.
