The butterflies have been learning about Yayoi Kusama, a Japanese artist who is called 'the princess of polka dots'. Her artwork consists of paintings and sculptures covered in dots! The children had so much fun using cotton buds to make their own versions inspired by her work! The children were able to pick their own choice of colours and were able to make lots of lovely marks using a dabbing motion and using strokes of the cotton bud. Fantastic job Butterflies!
