Parent visit - Speaking Lithuanian
The Butterflies were very fortunate to have a visit from Lukas's mum Zaneta to speak to the children in Lithuanian and read a Lithuanian children's book.
The children were engaged and concentrated on Zaneta's story.
They copied key words and practised pronunciation.
They all had a look at the book and pointed to pictures for context.
Exploring new languages is an excellent way for children to explore culture and the world.
It was a lovely experience for Lukas to share this with his peers.
