The Grasshoppers have been looking at how they are feeling. They read the book Paper Dolls and explored the feelings of the paper dolls in the book. The children used the language of feelings to discuss how the paper dolls were feeling. The children then attempted to manipulate scissors to make snips in paper and cut out their own paper dolls. Once the dolls had been cut out the children drew a face on their doll and talked about how their doll was feeling. Supporting the children with early self regulation as they understand different feelings.
