The Grasshoppers took part in paint splatting.
They drizzled paint across a shower curtain.
Then they threw water balloons on the curtain watching the water splat and burst onto the paint.
The children talked about what was happening to the paint as it mixed with the water.
Everyone commented on the colours mixing together and changing colour.
The children made predictions abut which water balloons would burst depending on the height it was dropped from.
The children practised through trial and error.
The children noticed if they threw the balloons harder the water splash was larger.
It was very exciting.
