The children went on a mermaid and fairy quest as part if our fiction and fantasy theme.
They took off with their nets on a mission to find mermaids in the lake.
They used gross motor skills to manipulate the nets to be able to scoop up the mermaids.
Children used imaginary skills to make up stories around the mermaids and fairies.
Their peers built on the stories.
Everyone counted how many mermaids were collected.
