During this weeks circle time the children in Ponies have been talking about different roles that their parents and carers have. A profession that gained lots of attention and interest was Mechanics in the car garage! The team created their very own garage using wooden cars and trucks, a work bench, high visibility clothing and a variety of tools and loose parts. The children enjoyed using their imagination and using their fine motor skills whilst working in small teams! They used wooden hammers and screw drivers to insert the wooden bolt a well as to tighten and loosen them. The children then role played taking their vehicles and bringing them back to the Mechanics waiting at the garage when they needed fixing. Well done Ponies!
