Mechanical Car Construction
The Grasshoppers constructed a mechanical car.
They carefully followed instructions from team members to connect wires and batteries.
The children learnt how to connect red wires to other red wires and black wires to other black wires.
They inserted batteries into inserts and talked about what the batteries will do.
The children spoke about how the batteries will give the car power.
They worked hard to attach wheels to the car so it was able to move.
They constructed a button onto the remote control to make it work.
Everyone was very excited when it powered up and moved across the floor.
