When life gives you lemons… MAKE LEMONADE!

Today the Butterflies had so much fun making their own lemonade! They followed the steps very well and did such good listening. The butterflies developed and portrayed very good hand eye coordination when scooping the sugar and pouring the water. They squeezed a choice of a lemon or a lime into a jug, then added sugar and water to the juice. They gave it a big mix and then it was taste time! Some Butterflies had a smell of it first and some went straight in for a sip. The children described the lemonade as “sour” and “sweet” but everyone said it was yummy, and some even asked for another cup! They were all very proud their lemonade and celebrated with a cheers!
