Exploring Lemon's
Lemonade and Lemon Cake
The children worked together, carefully using the safety knives to cut the lemons and putting them in a juicer to extract all the juice. Once the juice was ready, they mixed it with a sweet sugar syrup to balance the sourness of the lemons. The children were so patient as they waited for the lemonade to cool, eagerly anticipating it at tea time. Whilst they waited for the Lemonade, the children used a variety of ingredients, including lemons to make their own lemon cake! The children used weighing scales to weigh their ingredients and an electric whisk to mix it altogether. Well done Grasshopper's!
