The Ladybirds took part in a risky play herb tea party.
The children used fresh herbs and scissors to cut the herbs and add it to water in tea pots and cups. Scissor control was practised as they made snips in the herbs.
Senses were used to explore the herbs by smelling and touching them.
The children manipulated the china tea set pouting water from it carefully into cups.
The children took on a role in their play as they pretended to be sipping tea from the cups.
The children enjoyed using the china tea set and taking part in risky play.
From this the children were deeply engaged and acting responsibly to be careful no to break it.
They felt trusted with the equipment.
Well done Ladybirds.
