Herb Kitchen
The Ladybirds explored a herb kitchen to take part in some sensory play. The children explored a variety of living herbs and dried herbs as they mixed them together with water, flavourings and citrus fruits. The children handled all of the messy play materials and explored the touch sense. Children were able to smell the herbs and citrus fruits commenting on what they could smell. Herbs and fruits were crushed in pestle and mortars producing smells and liquids to add to their sensory potions.
