Grasshoppers Farm Trip
The Grasshoppers went on a trip to Brooks Farm. They were able to take a local bus to the farm, excitedly using public transport to connect themselves with places in the environment.
They were able to see a variety of farm animals and pet the animals. They saw goats, ponies, chickens, alpaca's, ducks and more. They were able to pet the animals gently and carefully. They also used the hay to feed the ponies.
The children were able to explore understanding the world and explore real live animals as they looked at their habitats and food intake.
