The children in Ladybirds have enjoyed celebrating national grape day by taking part in an exciting grape mark making activity! The children used the pestle and mortars to squash their grapes before adding a little bit of paint to make their creations. The children then used their paint brushes and fingers to make their marks on large pieces of paper. The staff introduced new language such as squash, squeeze and squelch. The children had lots of fun mixing colours and making new marks together.
