The Butterflies have been reading the story Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The children read the story several times and started to re-tell familiar parts. The children re-enacted some parts and explored making porridge for the bears. The children looked at the different sized bowls for daddy bear, mummy bear ad baby bear categorising the bowls by size mathematically. The children explored the consistency of the porridge adding more and less water to make it smoother or thicker.
