The Ladybirds explored a range of fruit and vegetables.
They used hand eye co-ordination and fine and gross motor skills to manipulate knives to chop fruit and vegetables including cucumber and oranges.
Mathematics was involved as children counted the pieces of fruit they cut.
Citrus fruit including oranges, lemons, limes and grapefruit were also pushed on juicers.
Children compared the amount of juice that each fruit produced.
They also tasted the various juices saying the orange juice was their favourite.
They added water to the juice and practised filling and emptying discussing when the beakers were full and empty.
