First Aid Practice
The team updated their first aid training this week and in line with this the Grasshopper team shared their knowledge with the children.
The children started by learning how to call for help. They also looked at the number they need to call.
Then the children looked at how to give CPR.
Children listened carefully for breathing.
Then they started chest compressions.
They also looked at how use a defibrillator. Pressing the buttons to operate this.
Following on from this children looked at how to stop bleeding by adding pressure.
Then they looked at how to apply a bandage.
