This week the children had a very exciting visit from Ark Farm. The mobile farm experience supported the children and enriched the four themes of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS); A Unique Child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environments and Learning and Development. This type of opportunity promotes confidence within each child and lays the foundations for future learning.

The children had the opportunity to pet the animals and learn how to care for them supporting them to learn future life skills. The children had the opportunity to pet a dog, sheep, goat, donkey, pig, rabbit, chickens and ducks. 

The children explored the natural world as they explored and investigated the live animals and handled them with care and compassion.
